Javier Voght hailing from Argentina is a full time custom knife maker that produces the highest quality custom knives. His pieces are true pieces of functional art that are simply mind blowing. While still relatively new to the show scene Javier has teamed up with the Sobral family another fine family makers from Argentina. Sobral is better known by their brand CAS and are internationally known for their high quality work.   While teaming up with the CAS at the 2016 BLADE Show Javier/CAS submitted a collaboration piece. This piece was an off the wall mashup between a Bowie style knife and the Winchester palanquero. Both iconic pieces for their time were now being married together to create something immediately recognizable while at the same time being completely new and unique. Sure we have all seen the somewhat rickety examples of knife guns many of which are ornamental only. While this new creation certainly had all the ornamental embellishments someone would expect in such an art piece it also has the extra ability of a true firearm.
