Caesar Guerini Woodlander
I don’t often get excited about any product, but I must tell someone about my new friend. I just purchased a Caesar Guerini 20 gauge shotgun with a 26” barrel. It was one of those purchases that you don’t need but you really want. What a pretty little gun. Well, I took the gun home, cleaned it and like so many others that had come before, put it in the safe.
Recently, I was invited on a quail hunt. I packed two guns. The new Caesar, and since I had never shot it before, I packed my old Browning just in case the Caesar didn’t work out. At the hunt, I pulled out the Woodlander with some concern for fear of embarrassing myself in front of my friends and sure enough, I missed the first three birds. Since I hadn’t shot in quite some time, I didn’t give up on my new purchase but slowed my pace and continued shooting. “What a trip!” I began to hit and hit and hit.
I can tell you now that the Caesar Guerini Woodlander over and under shotgun is light and maneuverable, easy to carry and a real pleasure to shoot. I told one of my friends that this agile little gun is just an extension of me. You really have to try to miss.
